Di Walker

Group Executive Chair

Di joined Karro as Group Executive Chair in October 2013. Prior to this she was Chief Operating Officer at Greencore PLC, and a member of the PLC Board. In her previous Greencore role as the UK Chief Executive, Di played a leading role in the company’s turnaround delivering strong revenue and profit growth over the last 10 years. Di has 20 years’ experience in UK food manufacturing and retail.

Seamus Carr

Chief Executive Officer

Seamus has more than 20 years’ experience and proven delivery in the Pork industry in senior roles within VION, Unipork, Almarai and Glanbia. With his background firmly rooted within the Pork Industry, Seamus has extensive knowledge and hands–on experience of the pork supply chain: farming through to processing.

Michael Kestemont

Chief Financial Officer

Michael has over 6 years of experience in the pork industry and played a key role in the creation of Karro. Michael previously worked as a consultant, supporting strategic change and turnaround projects across multiple industries.

William De Klein

Agriculture and Business Development Director

With a Food Technical and Production Management background, William has 15 years of experience in senior management roles within meat processing sites. William leads our Agriculture and Trading agenda - ensuring through relationships with our farmers that we deliver meat quality to the exact requirements of our customer. William is also responsible for the profitable growth of our international trade activities.

Mike Roberts

Technical Director

Mike joined Karro as Group Technical Director in August 2014, bringing with him the benefit of his 30 years' experience in senior management roles across a variety of food categories. Mike leads our technical agenda – with responsibility for delivering our Technical strategy, and with this, delivering Karro's reputation for the highest quality products to the exact specification of our customers.

Chris White

Commercial Director

Chris joined Karro in July 2014 and was promoted to the board as Commercial Director for the group in January 2016. Having been in commercial roles for over 18 years within the food industry he has extensive knowledge of our customer base. Latterly Chris was an Account Director at Cranswick PLC and has over 12 years’ experience in the pork industry. He is responsible for the management of our commercial, marketing and product development functions ensuring we are delivering at all levels for our customers.

Karro Food Group are a major UK food business, employing c. 3,000 people across 7 sites UK-wide, and generating over £500m of turnover every year. Karro is a leading producer of bacon, gammon, fresh pork, frozen sausage, ham and cooked meats – we manage the entire production process “from field to fork”. We supply our high quality meat products to retail, foodservice and manufacturing customers across the UK, as well as export customers around the world.
